“Siyempre alam naman ng lahat that Tito Eddie is an institution.

He could have appreciated that when he was still alive, and now he’s up there… beyond. All the credentials are here,” pahayag pa ng aktor.

“I don’t understand why we don’t recognize some distinguished Filipino artists as National Artists when they are still alive?  Sometimes we just realize the importance of honoring them after death despite having contributed a lot of their talents that have gained national and international recognitions. Are we afraid to squeeze out from the government funds to support their monthly pension, health and medical benefits? Or maybe the university and political war between the committee?”

“We have plenty of artists to give honor. We have Ms. Nora Aunor, Ms. Anita Linda, maestro Ricky Lee and Armando Lao (Screenwriters), Lav Diaz, Joel Lamangan, and Brillante Mendoza (Filmmakers), and Neil Daza (Cinematographer). Yes these are the Filipino artists who had made significant contributions to the development of Philippine arts. Why don’t we recognize them while they are still alive?” pahayag pa ng direktor
