Woman in Action founder Gretchen Ho continues to help Filipinos save their jobs by providing free bicycles to frontliners.

After she launched her website project “Women In Action” last April, Gretchen Ho continues to do good in her advocacy to help others. In a previous Instagram post she shared how she thought of the project which promotes positivity. “It started out as a line that could perfectly describe who I am and everything that I do, to being the tagline that motivates me to be a ‘Woman of Action.” Every time I get discouraged or feel helpless, I just remind myself that I AM a #WomanInAction, and that gives me strength. I just need to focus on my next step. After all, we are changed by WHAT WE DO, and the world is transformed through ACTION.”

Last April, while doing home quarantine, Gretchen opened up about her struggles with anxiety.

In early June, the 30-year-old TV host celebrated World Bicycle Day by giving away two bicycles to deserving frontliners who needed a means to go to work. She wrote, “I know there’s been so much stress over bike lanes & transport issues.. but here’s some #Happinews for today’s #WorldBicycleDay: Gave away bikes to two no work-no pay employees.”

Last August 13, the talented athlete and host announced on her Instagram account that she was giving away bikes to 50 deserving individuals who can prove to her that they need the help.

She wrote, “Because a BIKE can spell the difference between keeping a livelihood or not. If you are in need of 1, you may APPLY via the LINK on my BIO. You need to JUSTIFY WHY YOU ARE DESERVING, and you need to show proof when my team contacts you. You may also nominate someone lalo na kung wala silang internet but we’ll go through the same verification process. We’ll be giving these away after MECQ.”

Gretchen shared that it took some time for her to procure the bikes because they were shipped from abroad and are good quality mountain and folding bikes. In the same post, she made a call for those who still want to donate and help people save their jobs by providing more bicycles to frontliners and deserving individuals.

“DONATE A BIKE, SAVE A JOB.

If you want to be part of this project, you may CONTRIBUTE CASH DONATIONS, just send me a message via social media or email at gretchen@womaninaction.ph 🙂
