Actress Judy Ann Santos on Saturday took to social media to share her reaction to recently winning Best Actress at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival for her performance in the drama film “Mindanao”.

In her latest post on Instagram, the Kapamilya star said that she couldn’t help but burst into tears upon learning the news from director Brillante Mendoza.

Judy Ann went on to thank her family, fans, and those who were part of “Mindanao” for making her win possible.

[Brillante] maraming salamat sa tiwala at pagtyatyaga sa akin.. to my launchpad family.. malaking parte kayo ng recognition na ito.. thank you for supporting me in everything that i want to do and explore.. to my little angels.. yohan, lucho and luna.. if it weren’t for you guys… mom would’ve had a hard time portraying my character.. to my mom, kuya and ate.. para sa inyo to. my love.. rye.. thank you for always supporting me in everything i do and love.
