VP Robredo being called out by netizens for her “bad math skills”
Vice President Leni Robredo has been called out by some netizens for her alleged throwing a bad computation during a press conference.
Good News Network Philippines, uploaded the part where allegedly Robredo made a mistake in her computation.
Apparently, the Vice President is talking about the increasing price of commercial rice during that time.
“Diba 40.. 40 a week na agad.. sa isang buwan yung 40 times 4 edi 1600.. bigas palang yun.. eh paano pa yung ibang nag taasan ng bilihin?” Robredo said during her speech.
Several netizens noticed the mistake of Robredo and quickly made fun of the Vice President. Some of them even made a sarcastic reaction after watching the video.
“Totoo naman at tama naman po si leni sa kwenta nya pag bigas 40×4=1600 ganyan po talaga kalkulasyon pag LUGAW ang iluluto nya expert talaga si leni pag lugaw pinaguusapan.” Netizen Marvin Soriano said.
“Ok lng sana,kung 40 a day, at in just 1 month o 30days, 40 x 30 = 1,200 , kulang padin, kaya utak nya SOBRA , gusto lage may SOBRA, wala na finish na, advance mag isip dahil gusto nya lage may SOBRA, pamBULSA, hahah” Netizen Bryan Agustin Gabriel remarked.
A netizen even pointed out that President Duterte could be correct for calling the Vice President “incompetent” because she committed a mistake even in a simple math problem.
“Hahaha,40×4=1,600,pati ba naman sa simpling mathematics wala alam ang Vice President ,haha tama pala pangulo na hindi nga nya kayang pamahalaan or wala syang kakayahan na mamuno ng bansa ,40×4 plang bagsak na ehhh haha.” Netizen Tess Polvos stated.
Some even challenged the mainstream media to publish the mistake of Vice President Robredo in their circulation.
“O mga msm bakit di nyo binabalita yang 40×4=1600 ni leni?sigurado pag si mocha nagsalita nyan isang bwan nasa msm yan tapos babanatan pa ni princess fiona at iba pang yellow bloggers tapos makikisawsaw pa si bam,kiko,riza at iba pa.” Dang Bd said.
