MANILA, Philippines — Some local government units have suspended classes on Friday, August 2, due to heavy rain in select parts of the country brought by the southwest monsoon or “habagat” and the trough of a low-pressure area.

Classes in all levels, both public and private schools, are suspended this day in the following areas:
– Cainta, Rizal
– Infanta, Pangasinan
– Bugallon, Pangasinan
– Bani, Pangasinan
– Mabini, Pangasinan
– Calumpit, Bulacan
– Hagonoy, Bulacan
– Masantol, Bulacan
– Tarlac City
Meanwhile, classes of preschools and high schools are suspended in:
> San Carlos City
– Macabebe, Pampanga
Preschool to elementary:
– Dagupan City, Pangasinan
– Aguilar, Pangasinan
– Bolinao, Pangasinan
